Since 1979, B & R Industries, Inc. has seen a great many changes in its business, the products the company offers, and its services. Change always comes with opportunity, and B & R Industries, Inc. has always been ready and willing to embrace it. Yet, through it all, B & R is still dedicated to those we serve – everyone from the single family homeowner to the large scale developer or general contractor. As we venture into our second generation of leadership, we must keep in mind the ideal balance of historical inertia and traditional strength while delivering today’s premium on speed, customization, nimbleness, and flexibility. As we strive to master these demands, we realize that as we continue to grow our organization, our customers will not judge us on the long list of what we have done in the past, but the service we can provide for them in the immediate future.
Today the company’s four divisions – landscape installation, landscape maintenance, lawn and ornamental pest control, and irrigation installation and service – are each autonomous business units. As development and construction projects have grown in scale and complexity, B & R Industries, Inc. has increasingly been called upon to put its four units to work as a professionally managed, centrally coordinated team. Meanwhile, in the last few years the landscape and irrigation industry has undergone many changes that have forced us to adapt to new standards. Variations and changes in such areas as economics, building codes, landscape grades and standards, product availability, water conservation and technology are driving engines that have required our company to constantly evaluate our environment to assess how we can stay on the cutting edge. Our management team has always been proactive in recognizing that the training element is so very critical to the future and success of our business. As a result, the employees of B & R Industries, Inc. have welcomed and embraced the many changes in our industry and feel that our awareness is part of why we are a recognized leader in landscape and irrigation.
